Wednesday 11th December 2013...

I’m excited to announce that I’m joining the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour production team full time.

In January 2014, I take up the post of Senior Creative Producer. I’ll continue to carry out my existing duties on the tour: anchoring the live streams from each event, and presenting the television shows alongside Joe Stapleton. In addition, I’ll be working behind-the-scenes during pre and post-production with the talented crew who make the EPT and PCA the best poker programming on TV.

Obviously, I’m thrilled at the prospect of growing my role on the EPT and working on other PokerStars projects. I’m incredibly proud to be associated exclusively with the world’s biggest and best poker site.

Alas, I have to say a sad farewell to Sky Poker. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the five years I’ve spent hosting live shows on Sky and attending SPT events. I’ll miss the production team and the Sky Poker community. I wish the site and TV channel every success for the future.

I’m also resigning my post as LBC’s intermittent film critic. I’ll no longer be writing film reviews and blogs for the radio station’s website (or rather, I’ll no longer be FORGETTING to write film reviews and blogs for the website).

Suffice to say, I’ll continue to tweet about movies, as well as poker and NFL, in my spare time.
